Was walking home from the train station last night and peeked into an alley only to be greeted by this neon sign.

The X2D is not a night camera and it shows, but it captures so much detail even in terrible conditions.

I was in Harajuku to go to an art exhibit and called up some friends that lived nearby after to go to dinner.

These two shots are only okay. The shot of John (first) has a nice glow as he’s illuminated by street lamp but not much else going on.

The photo of LP (second) is the kind of urban chaos I want to capture but nothing in the photo adds order to the chaos for the viewer. It was kind of a “spray and pray” photo and as a result nothing really lines up either. The view of her through the frosted glass with only her shoes and ankles being clear is kinda cool though.

‎Here’s one that I liked. It’s not the best and it needs to be cropped in but I think it has potential.

Two days ago I didn’t really take any photos due to being with friends and then at the orchestra. This one is from yesterday and the weather has gotten a lot better, which is exciting!

Anyway, I love this photo. The single touch of the vending machine in a space illuminated by machine light. Complete isolation from the outside world.
